Tony Temple, was touted as one of Kansas City's most promising athlete's from the young age of 13 and continued to soar and set records throughout his high school and college football career. In 2004 Temple achieved #2 National Ranking ESPN. Tom Lemming herald Temple as the All-Time greatest running back in the Kansas City region. His accomplishments on the field landed Temple the Key to Kansas City, MO presented by Mayor Funkhouser. Temple's most memorable achievements during his University of Missouri football career were: 2008 Cotton Bowl MVP (still remains unbroken) • All-Time Rusher (281 yards) • All-Time Touchdowns (4) University of Missouri • 6th All-Time Rusher (only 3 seasons) • Only back to back 1,000-yard rusher school history (only 3 seasons) Currently, Temple is using his athletic skills and physical education to make positive impacts in the community through events, television programs, fitness classes for youth and adults, motivational speaking, and personal training.
